Intentional Triggering

“Intentional Triggering is abuse.” – James Blacker

Intentionally triggering someone is usually also Control and Abuse Consciousness.

A possible example of when it might not be is if a therapist has gained a client’s consent to bring a challenging emotion to the forefront of their Conscious Mind.

In the absence of consent, though, it’s a selfish, abusive act to cause someone to have a reaction against their will, even with the claim that it was done in their best interests, to help the person get out of their judged limitations in whatever way. It’s False Conscience.
